HOW HEAT PUMPS WORK

As the pool pump circulates the pool water through the heat pump, the heat pump fan draws air over the evaporator coil. The refrigerant extracts heat from the air and converts it to a gas, which is then passed through the heaters compressor. This increases the temperature of the gas and passes it through a condenser. The heat is then transferred to the pool water as it is circulated through the heater, then back to the pool. The gas is turned back to liquid form, back through the evaporator and the process is repeated.
